As we mentioned in a previous article, there are materials that shine extremely brightly in dark scenes.
The image below shows a picture frame for a puzzle, and the models and materials that make up the four sides of the frame are made of the same material. The bottom edge of the frame looks like it has a different color in a bright scene, but when placed in a dark scene, it shines so brightly that it is overexposed.
We’ve tried importing the model, positioning it, setting the materials, and making various other changes, but to no avail. In previous isues, the model was glowing due to UV map defects or environmental reflection in the material, but that’s not the case now.
