We are currently working on the layout design for the museum’s basement. Since we’ve decided on the puzzles to be installed in the basement, we were able to consider the layout and traffic flow. Accordingly, we’ve decided to add a staircase on the courtyard side, whereas previously access was only via elevator.
Some of the puzzles in the basement are installed in an open space above ground level, and along with the new staircase, significant changes were made to the first-floor layout. Because open spaces such as voids are also necessary, the structure becomes more complex as Boolean operations are used to remove and add elements.

When making those changes in Blender, we encountered an issue where UVs couldn’t be generated correctly (some vertices all converged to the 0,0 point). We tried adjusting various faces and vertices, but it didn’t work, so we divided the floor structure into multiple parts to make it simpler. Now the UVs are working correctly, so we’ll check it in Unity.
